Business Listing Terms

Version 1.0Effective 2026-09-15Last updated 2026-09-15

The obligations that apply when you manage a business page on OnCampusDaily.

1. Who this applies to

This applies to any user who creates or manages a business listing on OnCampusDaily ("Business Owner", "you"), in addition to the Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

2. Accurate business information

You must provide and keep accurate: business name, description, category, contact information (including any WhatsApp or other contact channel you list), website (where applicable), location, opening hours, images, and any offer or promotion you display. You represent that you have authority to list and manage this business on the Platform.

3. Responsibility for products, services, and operations

You are responsible for your business's products, services, pricing, legal compliance (including any required license or permit), staff, day-to-day operations, refunds, and handling of customer complaints. A business listing on OnCampusDaily does not by itself constitute OnCampusDaily's endorsement, verification, or guarantee of the business — see the Independent Platform Notice.

4. Advertising claims

Any claim you make in your listing or in a promotion (see the Advertising & Sponsored Content Agreement, where applicable) must be accurate and not misleading, consistent with the Community Guidelines.

5. Consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a consumer-protection right that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Nigerian law.

6. Moderation and removal

OnCampusDaily may remove or restrict a business listing that violates these terms, the Terms of Service, or the Community Guidelines, as described in the Content Moderation, Reporting & Takedown Policy.

Legal review required before reliance

This document has been prepared as part of the OnCampusDaily platform's legal and compliance framework. It is intended to establish the platform's operational and contractual structure but must be reviewed, adapted, and approved by appropriately qualified Nigerian legal counsel before being relied upon as final legal documentation.

Legal counsel should specifically review the operating entity, applicable Nigerian laws and regulations, data-protection obligations, consumer-protection obligations, payment and ticketing structure, tax obligations, advertising requirements, intellectual-property procedures, dispute-resolution provisions, age requirements, liability limitations, indemnification provisions, and any sector-specific regulatory obligations.
