Event Organizer Agreement

Version 1.1Effective 2026-09-15Last updated 2026-09-15

The obligations you take on when you create and run an event on OnCampusDaily, free or paid.

1. Who this applies to

This agreement applies to any user who creates an event on OnCampusDaily ("Organizer", "you"), whether free or paid, in addition to the Terms of Service. If your event has any paid ticket type, the Ticketing Terms also apply.

2. Eligibility and verification

You must set up an organizer profile before creating an event. Depending on the Platform's current requirements, creating an event or enabling paid ticket types may require a specific verification level (see the Verification Policy). OnCampusDaily may decline to enable paid ticketing for an organizer who has not met the applicable verification requirement.

3. Event accuracy and organizer authority

You represent that you have the authority to organize the event described, and that its title, description, venue, date, time, and ticket information are accurate. You are responsible for updating the listing if any of these details change.

4. Event legality, venue, capacity, and permits

You are responsible for the legality of your event, including obtaining any license or permit required for the venue, capacity, or activity involved, arranging any necessary security or medical provision appropriate to the event, and complying with the venue's own rules. OnCampusDaily provides discovery, ticketing, and payment-facilitation technology; it does not organize, supervise, or guarantee the safety of your event, and is not a venue operator.

5. Age and venue restrictions

If your event has an age restriction or other entry condition, you must state it clearly in the listing, and you are responsible for enforcing it at the door.

6. Ticket types and pricing

You control your event's ticket types, quantities, and prices through the Platform's ticketing tools. Setting a non-zero price makes a ticket type paid, subject to the Ticketing Terms and the Payment & Refund Policy's platform-fee provisions. You are responsible for the accuracy of what each ticket type includes.

7. Ticket validation and fraud

Tickets are issued with a unique code and QR image for check-in. You are responsible for validating tickets at your event using the Platform's check-in tools, and for reporting suspected duplicate or fraudulent tickets. OnCampusDaily's ticket-issuance and validation system is designed to prevent a ticket type selling beyond its stated quantity and to prevent the same ticket being checked in twice, but does not eliminate the possibility of a forged physical/screenshot presentation at the door — visual/device inspection at entry remains your responsibility.

8. Cancellation, postponement, and refunds

If you cancel your event, ticket holders are refunded to their OnCampusDaily wallet as described in the Ticketing Terms and Payment & Refund Policy. If you postpone your event, you must update the listing promptly and communicate the change to ticket holders; OnCampusDaily may require a refund option for ticket holders unable to attend the new date, consistent with applicable consumer-protection law.

9. Payment settlement, platform fees, and payouts

A paid ticket purchase debits the buyer's wallet for the full ticket price and credits your wallet with that price less OnCampusDaily's current platform fee — launch pricing of 1% at the time of writing (see the Payment & Refund Policy and Ticketing Terms for the current rate). No setup fee and no monthly ticketing fee apply. Your payout is a wallet credit, not an automatic bank transfer; withdrawing it to a bank account depends on the wallet-funding/withdrawal capability available at the time. OnCampusDaily may hold or delay a payout where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, a chargeback-equivalent dispute, or a legal request, consistent with applicable law.

10. Attendee complaints and emergency intervention

You are responsible for handling attendee complaints about your event. OnCampusDaily may intervene directly — including removing the event listing, suspending ticket sales, or notifying attendees — where reasonably necessary to protect attendee safety, prevent fraud, or comply with a legal obligation.

11. Taxes

You are responsible for any tax obligations arising from your event, including from ticket sales.

12. Suspension, removal, and indemnification

OnCampusDaily may remove your event listing or restrict/suspend your organizer account for violating this agreement, the Ticketing Terms, or the Community Guidelines, as described in the Content Moderation, Reporting & Takedown Policy. You agree to indemnify OnCampusDaily for claims arising from your event, its organization, or your conduct as an organizer, as further described in the Terms of Service.

13. What OnCampusDaily is responsible for versus you

OnCampusDaily is responsible for: the ticketing/payment technology functioning correctly, issuing tickets promptly once payment is confirmed, and processing payouts according to this agreement. You, the Organizer, are responsible for: the event itself — its planning, safety, legality, permits, staffing, and delivery. See the Risk Allocation section of the Terms of Service for the fuller picture across all activities on the Platform.
