Programs & External Listings Terms

Version 1.0Effective 2026-09-15Last updated 2026-09-15

Programs (courses, cohorts, bootcamps, certifications, and similar opportunities) are external discovery listings — OnCampusDaily does not process their registration, payment, or delivery.

1. What a Program is

A Program is a discovery listing for a course, cohort, bootcamp, certification, leadership program, training, professional-development opportunity, or similar offering, created by a program provider or organizer ("Program Provider", "you"). Programs are distinct from Events: an Event is a ticketed or free happening at a specific time and place that OnCampusDaily can sell tickets for; a Program is informational and external. If you want OnCampusDaily to sell tickets or process payment for something, list it as an Event, not a Program — see section 5.

2. Programs are discovery-only

In the current version of the Platform, OnCampusDaily does NOT process Program registration, enrollment, payment, tuition, or refunds. A Program page may display a price as informational text (for example, "₦50,000"), but that price is not payable through OnCampusDaily — it exists to inform a prospective participant what the Program provider charges externally. Every Program's primary call to action is "Visit Website →", which takes the visitor to the Program Provider's own website, registration form, or other external destination. This link is not, and must not be made to look like, an OnCampusDaily checkout.

3. The Program Provider is responsible for the Program

You, the Program Provider, are solely responsible for: registration and enrollment; payment collection and processing; course/program delivery, quality, and outcomes; any certification issued; scheduling; refunds; and the handling of any participant data you collect on your own external platform. OnCampusDaily has no visibility into and no responsibility for any of the foregoing — its role is limited to the discovery listing itself.

4. Required on-page disclosure

Every Program page displays: "External listing: Registration, payment, and program delivery are handled by the organizer. OnCampusDaily does not process registration or payment for this program." This disclosure is deliberately concise rather than visually overwhelming, consistent with the presentation standards in the Legal & Policies center, but it is not optional or removable.

5. Anti-evasion: Programs must not be used to bypass ticketing

You must not list a ticketed or paid-admission event as a Program to avoid OnCampusDaily's ticketing system, platform fee, or moderation controls. A submission containing language suggestive of on-platform ticket sales — for example combinations of phrases like "buy ticket", "ticket price", "pay to attend", "entry fee", "admission fee", "DM to pay", "WhatsApp to buy tickets", bank/payment details for direct transfer, or a link to an external ticket-sale page — may be automatically flagged for moderator review. A flag does not automatically remove your listing; a moderator reviews it and may approve it as-is, ask you to clarify, edit it, reclassify it as an Event (see section 6), reject it, or, in serious or repeated cases, suspend your organizer account. Legitimate use of WhatsApp or another external link for communication about a genuine Program is not itself prohibited — the concern is disguised on-platform ticket sales, not communication.

6. Reclassification to an Event

If a Program is found to actually be a ticketed event, an administrator may move it into the Events system as a real (initially draft) event, which then becomes subject to the Event Organizer Agreement and Ticketing Terms, including OnCampusDaily's platform fee on any paid ticket type. You will be notified if this happens to your listing.

7. Reporting

Any user can report a Program, including specifically for "Wrong category / ticket event disguised as program", scam or fraud, misleading information, or unauthorized ticket sale, through the report option on the Program page. Reports are handled under the Content Moderation, Reporting & Takedown Policy.

8. No OnCampusDaily enrollment or application records

OnCampusDaily does not create a student enrollment or application record for a Program, and does not claim that a student has registered for a Program merely because they clicked "Visit Website". We may record an anonymous/aggregate outbound-click event (for example, "external_registration_clicked") for discovery-quality and analytics purposes, as described in the Privacy & Data Protection Policy — this is not, and is not treated as, proof of registration.

9. Sponsored Programs

A Program may be sponsored using OnCampusDaily's existing advertising/sponsorship system (see the Advertising & Sponsored Content Agreement), which can place it prominently at the top of the Programs discovery page, clearly labeled "Sponsored" or "Ad". Sponsoring a Program pays for placement/visibility only — it does not change the Program's transaction model. OnCampusDaily receives the advertising/sponsorship payment; the Program's own registration and payment remain entirely external, exactly as described in section 2.

10. Program creation requirements

When you submit a Program, you confirm that the information provided is accurate and that registration/payment for the Program occurs externally unless OnCampusDaily expressly states otherwise for that specific listing. Program submission fields do not include OnCampusDaily ticket types, ticket pricing, or payment configuration — if you find a way to represent your listing as though it charges through OnCampusDaily, that is not a supported or authorized configuration and may result in removal.

11. Suspension, removal, and indemnification

OnCampusDaily may edit, reclassify, suspend, or remove a Program listing, or suspend a Program Provider's account, for violating this agreement or the Community Guidelines. You agree to indemnify OnCampusDaily for claims arising from your Program, its accuracy, or your conduct as a Program Provider — including any claim from a participant relating to registration, payment, or delivery of the Program itself, none of which OnCampusDaily is a party to.
